Before firing items that need to be glaze fired should be dry footed or placed on steel-pointed stilts for support. These essential tools provide a stable and supportive surface for a ceramic piece to rest as it is being fired. Ideal for firing Christmas Baubles.
Note: our rods come as standard lengths and they are slightly too long for our baubles which may cause them to bend slightly during firing (this is due to a combination of the heat and weight of the bisque). We recommend cutting rods to size (e.g. place the bauble on the rod, mark the rod 1cm below the bottom of the bauble and cut the rod at this point). Call the office if you need further advice. Rods are approx. 15.2cm in length
